What is this test?
The UWO Plurals test was developed as a measure of a listener’s ability to detect the plural marker “s” or “z” at the end of an English word. For example, the plurality of the noun “cat” is marked by adding an “s” sound at the end of the word. This test has been used in evaluations of outcomes with frequency lowering signal processing (e.g., Glista et al., 2012).
Stimuli for the UWO Plurals test are available on a CD from Phonak. The picture cards for use with this test are available for download were developed by Phonak for use with this CD.
